I bought myself a birthday present. I like it. I moved the old TV out and put the new one in our living room today. It looks great. The big old box is in the garage. My wife hates it. Doh. I wish I’d have remembered to buy a VGA cable so I could plug my laptop into it.
So I’m feeling a little old. I bought myself a few interesting books too – The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, The Dip by Seth Godin, and Freakonomics, which I bought because it’s become a bit of a cult classic and I haven’t read it yet. I didn’t get myself any box sets of DVDs to watch on my new TV yet though. I decided it’s best to spoil yourself on your birthday as you’re more likely to be happy with all your presents. Pity my wife doesn’t agree
